Yay, another interactive comic! I love those, but it looks like there's some geoblocking at play in this one. Seems I can't edit from Sweden.

Re: 1674: "Adult"

I had to google AirHeads since I had no idea what they are. Those things in the shopping cart are awfully small for motorbikes, aren't they?

Re: What-If 0057: "Dropping a Mountain"

What about air resistance? In the one-inch and one-foot scenarios you have a cushion of air that has to get out of the way when the mountain drops. Surely that would slow the fall and decrease the impact forces?

Re: 1190: "Time"

Delurking for a moment to post another idea about the OTC, partly inspired by Lovepirate's great analysis: I have this haunting feeling that Randall is retelling some classic tale in the xkcd format. There's no tale that immediately comes to mind, but these adaptions aren't always easy to recognize....

It's clearly a comment on global warming. Cueball is a GW skepticist and Megan looks at the empiric evidence.

Re: 1190: "Time"

This thread reminds me of Gibson's Pattern Recognition where groups discuss the meaning of anonymously uploaded film clips, and try to track the origin of those clips. And mean that in a good way; I'm impressed by the collective intelligence shown in this forum. My guess is that the comic is a comme...

Re: 1170: "Bridge"

Much the same goes for ”If everybody [did yucky thing in public] would you do it too?” to which the answer is “If everybody does it that means it’s socially accepted, perhaps even socially required. So yes, I would do it and you would probably too, and no one would think it was weird.”

Re: 1167: "Star Trek into Darkness"

Obviously, the only sensible solution is having "into" capitalized and un-capitalized on alternating dates, and I say that as an experienced Wikipedia editor. I'll just pop over there and set them straight. See you soon.
