In theory, if I take the unary [bitwise inverse] of the input, I would get a low bit difference. No that would not work. Since Skein is a cryptographically strong hash it is designed so that knowing one input and its corresponding hash will predict absolutely nothing about any other input/hash pair...

I'm waiting to see if when the glimpsed future arrives in the present, whether the hash is the same and stops returning a 404, or if it arrives with a different hash. If the former, it will be a hint that the hash is some combination that includes the png file itself along with the time that it goes...
