Re: I never...

Wow, I've been waiting for this moment. It took a boat-load of caffiene and determination but I managed it. Now I can destroy this thread!

I've never been to Mars.

What an off-topic post! Regardless, purple is such a vibrant colour, don't you think?

Did you notice my extraordinary way of spelling colour? Yeah.. I bet you did.

Do all the ladies love you?

I don't care. Women can go to hell. They're worthless.

Dude, dude, dude. That's so cool.

That's a little harsh and sexist, don't you think?

Re: Explody Computer

Thanks for the replies, I replaced my PSU, checked everything for shorts but couldn't find anything - although my chassis fan had ceased to work, so I replaced that as well. Started her up and everything was working perfectly. Total cost to fix: £66... Much better than replacing my GFX card. :D

Re: Explody Computer

When I say continuous, I mean it was like "beep beep beep beep beep..." Everything was in the same order as it was before I put the HDD in. I'll get the exact beep order when I'm home. But I agree with replacing the PSU before going further. Edit: Strange, it beeps like the following: 1 lo...

Re: Explody Computer

I don't think my BIOS appears in that table. The beeps were continuous, so I'm not sure if that applies to any of them anyway. (Such that it continued to beep until I took the power cable out)

Explody Computer

Not exactly keen to go to PC World to have them take a look at my PC and confirm my suspicions, then charge me £50 for their trouble along with maybe another £25 to replace the broken article; I turn to you: 2 years ago I built myself a PC, specs (Apologies for mistakes, I'm doing this from memory):...
