Beyond that, I guess it did what it set out to do. It's not gonna be as memorable as the original film, but then again, other than Aliens; which sequel can claim that? The Road Warrior? The Last Crusade? (I don't plan to watch ID4 2 btw; the 1996 movie seemed bad already and I managed to avoid it).
