The precision of the measurements does change however. We have extremely accurate records for the last century or two. The further back in time you go, the more coarse the measurements get. It just bugs me when people do that on a graph and then act as though it's all one data set. It's not. If we ...

Re: 121: "Frozen Rivers"

Grandma Duck and her neighbors wou...

Re: 1314: "Photos"

I wouldn't want to convince anyone of the "proper" way to experience anything, but working as part-time tour guide, I know the difference between people creating memories of a place they enjoy, and people just recording something they don't give a damn about. Modern technology makes it po...

Re: 1190: "Time"

I have to say, I gave up on following the thread around page 54... I searched but didn't see anyone mention that the flags aren't moving. Oh pffth... actually that was referred to just a page or two ago. Life is getting in the way of me following this thread :-) I think I'll give up again (on the th...

Re: 1190: "Time"

Not sure why the .js has to be so complex for this since all the really good stuff isn't in it. (I am perfectly happy to wait for each frame to appear ...

Re: 1190: "Time"

This morning I was worried I'd miss something but now I just have it up in the corner of my screen quietly updating itself every once in a while :)
