Re: 1190: "Time"

Ooh, cake! My 500th was absorbed into the mess following the frame-which-must-not-be-named, so I hope you don't mind if gorge on these now... That's a perfect title for the end of time. Or it can be shortened to TFWMNBN, but that doesnt sound good. Any thoughts for an appropriate name? What about V...

Mustard! Chirping mustard! Chirpety chirp CHIRP! That one song from The Music Man just got a lot funnier. "Pick a little, Talk a little, CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP pick a lot, talk a little more" Especially since every now and then there's a line that's just "Cheep cheep cheep cheep cheep che...

Re: 1190: "Time"

It occurs to me that, since this is another segment that's opaque to Cuegan, the word that's buried in there might not even be a relevant word if Rosetta's getting her vocab mixed up.

Re: 1190: "Time"

Have we talked about Rosetta's probably position/job/whatever? The grandness of the hall suggests some kind of political leader. But why would she bring herself down to Megball-level? Ditto military leader. Maybe the desk is a drawing table and she's an architect? Too simplistic an assumption; just...

Re: 1190: "Time"

Why is "You do not know" not a question? Rosetta is possibly one of a small group of people who actually know the reason for the sea rising or are causing the sea to rise. Either way, she is aware that it is not common knowledge, but a common question. Alternately, it IS common knowledge ...

One other aside @everyone; some might not be aware that the name Hypatia (not Hypathia) is a historical reference; it's worth a quick Wikipedia check if the name isn't familiar. This is why I'll stick with Rosetta. Sounds nice, has some meaning (the figure hosts beneath something like a half rose w...

Quick note on the BG number: If you are never quoted by BG either directly or in a chain, you simply do not have a BG number. If you are directly quoted, your BG is 1. A high BG number means you get quoted down a long chain, which ultimately gets quoted by BG. A high BG number is therefore the rare...
