Spoiler:
All that Galahad's doctors had was cheap booze, and Galahad had had a headache from a salsa party last night.

Am I now allowed to go look through the spoilers from early posts?

Re: MS Paint Adventures thread

I just wrote a Homestuck RPG. You should check it out! It aims to capture the feeling of reading Homestuck, namely jumping the shark, everything's coming together and "this is incredibly silly".

Here's the game rules
Here are the character sheets and other printouts.

Enjoy!

The old city-building games Zeus, Pharaoh and Emperor. Zeus is my favourite, but they all have their charm.
Silent Storm, a little at least. I often install it to play just a single mission or so.

Microscope - fractal gaming

I want to tell you about a role-playing game called Microscope. It's about playing out an entire span of world history, starting with the general picture and digging inwards. The first thing you decide is what it would be about, including the ending. A great empire rises and falls. Then you decide o...

I place a turtle underneath the pile.

On the pile, there are 2 pennies covered in ketchup, a coolguy5678 bent onto himself (head in anus), and the pile itself, on top of a turtle. All the way down.

(apologies if this is a duplicate; I searched for a while and didn't find anything.) I second Nuns on the run. It's fun to play as the novices, just writing your moves down and only placing your player piece on the board when yu get caught, but it's even more fun (to me) to play as the grownups trying to catch them. You have to choose a path to walk and tell everyone, like "I w...

If you just wanted a death match, and don't care about foraging for food and stuff, do the battle royale thing. Everyone is close enough to find and kill each other before starvation, maybe give every team a day's rations to be sure. When only one team is alive, they're allowed off the island. Every...

Not to say you wouldn't have won, but a small rules reminder: you can never have two of the same item. If you draw another one, it's discarded or shuffled (not sure) and you draw a new one.

How did you win the second game - no gates open, five elder signs or did you kill him in battle?

You need one success per player, as in for a three-player game you need three successes to remove a doom token. Re: Dungeons and Dragons (and other tabletop RPGs)

Unknown Armies does some nice things to the d%-roll-below-your-skill mechanic: - having a certain skill as your specialty means you get to flip the 10s and the ones die (83 becomes 38) - hand-hand-to-hand damage is the sum of your dice (so 54 would deal 5+4=9 damage) +1 each for the weapon being big...
