Re: Irrational fears

I got over my biggest irrational fear yesterday! I was intensely afraid of using electric razors, but one of my housemates forced me to use his... and my face didn't get carved off. So I'm okay now.

Re: Artificial Island/Micronation

I'm really impressed with the amount of feasibility studies that have been put into the idea for this nation, and the concept of a haven for the intellectually 'elite' or somesuch, but I have a question:

Who would mop the floors? And what would they gain from being there?

Re: Signatures and Perception.

I enjoy the single quote, just for a nice 'this is what I believe in, like, etc' on the person posting. It's easy to skip, but still offers insight.

Although small images, especially ones that are pretty much purely aesthetic (like Kaiyas') are okay, because they don't detract from the reading.

Coconut is my favorite smell, no reasons why, it just is. The smell of pot reminds me of really good kissing. I didn't smoke it, but my girlfriend at the time's parents did, all the time. Still best make-outs I've ever had. Also, cinnamon, from good times cooking. Also, that cold top-of-the-mountain...

Join a club that forces you to interact with the other people, preferably cooperatively (a team sport) and ESPECIALLY dancing. Dancing is amazing for meeting people. I've found those two are the surest bets. I understand your frustrating with 'just do stuff'... it feels awkward to approach someone w...

I can empathize, Pencils. Since I never come on the board for more than one or two posts per week, I don't develop a recognizable e-personality, and thus it would be difficult, even if they wanted to, for someone to address me directly. If two spaceships are traveling toward each other at 70% c, and I'm at the middle point between them: 1) How fast will it look like the other spaceship is going from one spaceship's point of view, and 2) With how much force would they collide into each other (assuming the spaceships to weigh 1kg, ju...
