Re: Indie & Small Press Tabletop RPGs

Man, wish I had known about BurningCon back when I was in NYC; I was just getting into Burning Wheel at the time (experimenting with the idea of a game set in Westeros). Are there other indie cons I should know about? Gen Con is in my sights this year, if I can get transportation.

Re: Kickstarter Thread. Everything Goes Here.

Ok, I officially need to back Torchbearer now. My friends who won't play Mouse Guard WILL play this. Finally, an RPG where you really SHOULD keep track of ammo. Why? Because I paid for that arrow, dammit.

Probably the biggest reason I enjoyed DA2 more was the decisions felt more realistic. It was hard to be an jerk in DA1 without being an incredibly evil mustache-twirling villian. Re: Dungeons and Dragons (and other tabletop RPGs)

If you want mice with swords (AWESOME) play Mouse Guard! Mouse Guard is incredible. I'm currently running a game with my girlfriend that I both Storytell and play in. That sounds like a miserable idea, and in D&D it probably would be, but the beauty of Mouse Guard is that the story is totally d...

Re: Magic : The Gathering : The Thread : The Rename

Odd question but does anyone on this thread live in Paris? I'm currently expatting for the next 2 months, and I just taught my girlfriend the game. The plus side is, French cards are a great way to pick up some obscure vocabulary.
