Re: Elder Scrolls Tabletop v2.0

I figure I might as well let people know that, school being what it is, I haven't been able to get any serious work done on 2.0, and probably won't be able to for a while.

So, sorry.

I've done away with this. Considering that damage and restorative effects are incremental, implementing them to a system like this would be too messy.

Re: Elder Scrolls Tabletop v2.0

That's pretty much how it works in 4E; roll athletics, divide result by 10, that's how many squares you go, with a square being equivalent to 5 feet. 1 ft / 10 points seems a bit low, though... I remember a "good" long jump result at school athletics being a bit over 4 metres (~13 feet), ...

Attempting to jump 5 feet horizontally from a stand without having practiced the technique is actually pretty likely to land you flat on your ass. It's harder than it sounds. Telling me that something is "harder than it sounds" would be more convincing if I had not in fact tried that thin...

Hmm; fair enough; I've never been happy with D20 games before but they are popular. Then again, maybe it's a better fit for this than for Star Wars. I actually think d20 is very realistic in its own perverse way. If one person is better than another person at something, chances are, that other pers...

Microsoft is essentially going to start charging its customers based on what computer resources are used.

If this doesn't do Microsoft in once and for all, I don't know what will.
