Re: 0936: "Password Strength"

LamsBitNeukSous may not exactly be instantly familiar, but i figure any aspiring scrabble players will get regular a...

Re: GPS project - has this been done yet?

almost all GPS receivers can output NMEA data of where they've been. use GPSD to pull this data down to your computer & store. no special hardware is required, just an off the shelf receiver.

How many people tried PULLING the string down? Some answers must be tugged out.

(The situation was Randall was flying a kite with a string tied in the middle of the tension line, such that it was dangling down into the campus out of the blue)

Randall owns^Hed a fujitsu p series (before it was stolen). The trackpad on these machines is superlative.

The one thing i like about track pads is the vertical scroll areas. Emulating the same in X with a nipple and a mode-shift just isnt quite the same.

Yeah, I too thought it was a joke for about half a day, then realized it was absurd enough it had to have been true. Hearing there was a huge media circus surrounding it just makes it so plush. Its comforting really, knowing the media has always been dirtbags and the public always been permissive of...
