What do you mean ? Can you highlight the icons? If you can't click on anything, then somebody could have played a practical joke.

Because I'm black, I play all sports well. The direct opposite is actually true. Because you're black, you play sports terribly? No no no, he is obviously trying to say that because he isn't black, he plays all sports terribly. :P You're both wrong. He's clearly saying that because he plays all spo...

Re: weird virus

Booted into safe mode, found some adware, removed it, every thing looks great!

Except for one thing....

When she goes into outlook, it says that it cannot load the default email folders.

And she's stubborn in not using anything besides outlook, of course.

Re: weird virus

She uses firefox, and has never touched ie for a year or two! Now we can't even get windows running for more then a few seconds before a uncloseable dialog box pops up, saying that system32/services.exe has terminated with a value of -10173741819, and that NTathourity/system will now reboot the comp...

Strange problem with icons.

My friend asked me to help her with a weird problem she has been having with her laptop (xp)

In short, the background doesn't carry over to the icons, for some reason.

A little hard to explain, here's a screen shot.

Re: Default Size Of Explorer Windows

Well, If we can't solve that one I have another.. So, I set Firefox to open all links that were supposed to open in a new window to open in a new tab. Starting in the last few days, some links still open in a new window. I don't know what is happening, as sometimes the same link that opened in a win...

Re: Default Size Of Explorer Windows

No, Shift click doesn't work at all(all it does is sometimes resets the size and view options for the other folders).

The setting under folder options sets every thing the same, except for window size.

Default Size Of Explorer Windows

In Windows XP, When you open a folder for the first time, it always opens at a size of 800 x 600.
I can change it, but it only applies to that folder, and often it forgets if you open it in two diffrent ways.

Is there a way to change the default so every folder always opens in a size that i choose?
