Re: Rant Thread (because we need more ranting)

Of course, I've been looking for a job for months with no luck, and the day I leave to go to Texas for a wedding I get a call requesting an interview. On the day of the wedding. Which is the wedding of my brother.

Today while hiking I found a box turtle. So I sat down on the trail and talked to it for a while. And then a daddy long leg crawled on my leg, and I watched a blue dragonfly.
Today was a nice day :)

When I had a dog he would totally freak out if the power went out. Even at like 2:00 in the morning, when all the lights were off anyway. There was just a click or something when appliances die that totally drove him insane.

Have you read The Shepherd's Tale? Does a good job of explaining his past :) I have not - I generally avoid books (and fanfics) about film/TV show characters because they are, as a wildly generalised rule, poorly written. Having said that, I do (or at least, did) read the Buffy and Angel comics (Se...

My high school english teacher used to dock off points any time you used split infinitives (or any infinitives) and passive voice. It annoyed me a lot, since I was taking Latin at the time and infinitives and passive tenses are quite common there.
