Re: Halo vs Star Wars

not true. tatooine is basically the africa of the star wars universe. all it has is slave and moisture farmers and the odd space pirate. it would lose against earth. and i think high charity could whip quite a few planty butts.

Re: Why is Halo so critically acclaimed and popular?

may i remind those who are rating the halo series on it worthiness as a pc game that it was designed for console usage originally and in my experience when games are move to encompass another platform they sometimes loose some of that which makes them special.

Re: British Politics

hello for those asking about politics education in schools, well I shall tell you that Citizenship Studies has been a compulsory part of the national curriculum (what schools have to teach by law) since 2002. Therefore, technically all students learn about how elections and politics and stuff works...

Not so sure about the sociology side of it but then i've never studied or thought about studying it. You could just twerk history and concentrate on the last century to see how politics has been changed.

Re: British Politics

I'm actually quite confused as to why everyone's so down on Gordon Brown. OK so he wasn't elected to his role, but I don't see him doing anything particularly bad. The only piece of legislation I've seen him get out is that rich tax, everything else the news has covered has either been swine flu, e...

Re: British Politics

And now dear people we see the true power of the media. Many see that because of the expenses scandal and the boycott of Labour in the EU elections the British National Party (Fascists) have now won their first seat. I see democracy walking away with it head down. And I now take it upon myself to pr...

Re: British Politics

The problem with the british representative system and using PR systems is that the MP's do not have to listen to the constituents unlike they do in america as such the minority could end up have a bigger voice than the majority if dependant on the MP which is hardly fair democraticly is it?
