I always invoke air as well. Are you left-handed perchance? My guess is that most Earth banishing drawers are right-handed.

Re: 0991: "Phantom Menace"

Jar Jar Binks aside, I enjoyed Phantom Menace. It had my personal favorite lightsaber duel in the history of the series. Plus screw haters, pod racing was frickin' awesome, I remember playing star wars pod racer on n64.

Re: 0966: "Jet Fuel"

I've seen the episode of South Park people are baying about, and I don't recall mention of jet fuel and mind control chemicals in that episode. South Park isn't the only one who can make fun of 9/11 conspiracy theories, guys.

does elegance imply simplicity?

It is difficult for me to describe how I arrived at this question, my stream of consciousness is often that of a very ugly decision tree ( hardly elegant ). I don't have much of a set up or clarification to this question, it is simply one I pose to you all on this forum because you seem like t...

Re: 0813: One-Liners

this comic is epic win. It reminded me of this hilarious one-liner used in this flash cartoon called Tankmen on newgrounds: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/402450

to quote: "You should've used the Pythagorean Theorem, bitch." *stab*

Re: 0802: "Online Communities 2"

I looked pretty hard, but I couldn't find Newgrounds on the map. I'm surprised, Newgrounds has a fairly large forum and community, though I guess maybe it doesn't have the social activity parameters that Randall was looking at? Probably the same reason a lot of porn sites aren't on there too (or may...

Re: "Bad Ex" Discussion

Is White Hat Guy a new character? there were sticks with white hats in Dignified and Idiocracy. None of them have significant enough personality to be dubbed a reoccurring character in my opinion. Although the douchebag does have a striking resemblence to the psychologist in this comic... hmmmm... ...

Re: "I Don't Want Directions" discussion (#783)

Looks like Randall might have "borrowed" a joke idea pretty much verbatim. Youtube - OFFICIAL VIDEO - "Girl Directions" by PSYCHOSTICK (november 26, 2009) Though I have to appreciate the XKCD version of the joke just as well, even though I do think some credit would have been du...

This Thread: Proving Randall's point since 2010. amidst all the discussion, this is my favorite comment, so so true. It would appear that almost everyone who has posted in this thread would fall under the category of "people who have strong opinions on the distinction between geeks and n...

This one was great. Classic Black Hat. Though I can't to wait to see the comic where uppity White Hat meets Black Hat. They shall fight...like men once did.

Also Friday.

I'm sorta the same way, I bought C&C Red Alert 3 last year and low and behold 6 months later, I found myself reinstalling C&C Red Alert 2. (whose servers are still quite alive for a game almost 10 years old) C&C the original though...holy crap. I remember playing that with my friend down...

Re: "Idiocracy" Discussion

I don't know if anyone already pointed this out (and didn't feel like filtering through this 9 page debate), but this is not white hat's debut. He chatted it up with Beret guy before in Dignified:
