I am checking in to say that the othercomic mentions obelisks. IT'S ALL RELATED. Bye. Bye? Bye?! http://forums.xkcd.com/download/file.php?id=38708&t=1 I mean, "bye" as in I'm going on a quest to the hills! I'll be camping for a week, and with the ominous and opposite disaster looming ...

Re: 1190: "Time"

I myself will be going to UC Davis in a month and majoring in physics, which, I have found out, is more intimidating to Outside people than I thought. I must be reading too much xkcd. Yeah, take it from a Physics&Math major whose age can be determined thru Carbon-dating -- all you have to do is...

Re: 1190: "Time"

Reporting in from the once more cloudy San Francisco again. Was quite lovely earlier today, then in the late afternoon the fog returned, along with some gusty chills. I guess that's normal here? Spent the first part of the day touring Berkeley (a self-guided tour, with 2 of my siblings and ...

Hey guys, I made you an OTTercomic! I think nobody has done this yet; I checked the wiki. So here goes. (Note: enlarging Rosetta is a pain an adventure, especially in deciding how to fix the hair, so I ended up using a different method for each frame. Sorry.) http://forums.xkcd.com/download/file.php...

Re: 1190: "Time"

That was spectacular. I came over to the OTT as soon as I saw "the event", and I have spent hours trying to read what seemed like four pages when I started. This ending of sorts reminds me of the end poem for Minecraft. You've put together an integral piece of one of the greatest wonders o...

Re: 1190: "Time"

I would like to point out that the ridges that Cuegan had to hop over (like the snake one) were probably formed as the water level dropped and hesitated (relatively) momentarily with a heavy rainy period or some other event. Not that it matters much now that we know what happened.
