This is probably quite a silly gripe, but it always makes me angry when I hear James Brown's "I Feel Good" being used as the background music in an ad, whether radio or television. IT'S TOO FREAKING OBVIOUS. Show more originality.

Do you find hearing about people's dreams boring?

This is something that I have been pondering. I often see pop culture references (like from our very own webcomic, though I can't find the link to the right one at the moment) that listening to other people's dreams is rather boring. But in my little sphere it's quite rare I find it boring as a casu...

I went into a cupboard in my brother's room and found Thom Yorke in a studio. He played me an unreleased song on solo piano, and while he was playing and singing all these things happened with it, like lots of little cubes falling from the ceiling and the whole room filling with water. It wasn't a g...

Australia has plastic money? Dunno if it's plastic. It's not paper exactly. The internet says: Australia was the first country in the world to have a complete system of bank notes made from plastic (polymer). These notes provide much greater security against counterfeiting. You can clean between your teeth quite successfully with whatever monetary bills you may have at hand. Since they are plastic, they do not lose integrity like paper when applied to the moisture of your gums.

I am unsure if this applies in the US though. It works here in Australia.

The Road by Cormac McCarthy.

Thinking back on it, I'm not sure why I hated it so much. I think it was rather too disjointed in the grammatical and plot sense to have a decent flow, while not being disjointed enough to appreciate it for the poetry.

65daysofstatic are the only band I can think of easily that I don't understand.

I like vaguely experimental music going from a rock base; it's probably half the rock I listen to. But they just seem oddly bland. I've a feeling they might be more of a live show band.
