Assuming that such a system doesn't already exist, would you find it useful to have an app that could search for proofs, taking mathematical statements as input?

Is there a way to calculate the limit as n approaches infinity of a conditional function like {3n+1 if nmod2=1, n/2 if nmod2=0}?
