what language is it supposed to be in? Assuming that this is just an excerpt from a file and not the whole file, it could be any of: Alef C (at least C99/GNU C; C89 doesn't have // comments) Objective-C C++ C# D Java Pike And probably zillions of others. There are at least a whole boatload of C var...

I hate to be pedantic, but that semicolon on line 1 will probably cause a syntax error. Ah... who am I kidding. Being pedantic rocks. >_> It surely will if that's Java. Looks like it. C++ too. you put a ; after the declaration*only* if you don't define it at that time, but he defined it right there.

Why is there a semicolon after the method declaration (this kinda bothered me)? what language is it supposed to be in? It's java style capitalization....
