Re: 0802: "Online Communities 2"

Ok, i gotta say: I have the sudden desire top lay in a tabletop rpg that uses this thing as a world map. I think 7chan would be about teh size of hawaii... which means that this entire thing would be about twice the size of the pacific? point besides, any one else down for this idea? you can base co...

Wierd Google Searches which turn up no Results

I just thought that since there've been a few comics here and there. "jar jar binks your a genius" comes to mind from Darths and Droids. we should make a list of all the weird google searches which have no results for some reason. note: this indicates they have no results at the time of po...

Re: Google to Reconsider Chinese "Approach"

whats important about this isn't so much that google is refusing to deal, but that they are doing so in a manner that brings international attention to the fact that the chinese government are assholes. google making the ultimatum will encourage other western companies to do the same, or it will for...

Re: Nobilis

Hey, i've been a long time avid supporter of Nobilis... i've played an Amber game or two as well, I would say that while Amber and Nobilis are extremely similar in style, their details are incredibly different. you cannot play nobilis with amber, and vica versa, but they are pretty similar to each o...

Re: Ender and the Kobayashi Maru

OK, well first off you can assume that if it was a programmed scenario, that Ender would have already got wind of it. If it was a single test, he would have gone through extensive effort to determine its nature, and teh details surrounding it, probably involving some of his more loyal friends, hacki...

Re: Improv Weapons

Well, zombie apocalypse aside, teh type of weapon you need depends entirely on teh sort of situation your in. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, actually using improvized weapons is kinda pointless. break into a gun-store or somthing grab a shotgun and a LOT of amunition. Machete's are also useful...

Re: sci fi story help

buffer overflow. . . find out how much heap space the network has for collective storage, then keep coming up with new ideas for how to manipulate the system (ideas that have never been thought before so they can't just be referenced in cache) until one of those manipulations overwrites the code po...

Re: 'Best' Religion

Pastafarianism is pretty appealing to me, as a newly deconverted agnostic-leaning-towards-atheism. I'm seriously considering saying "Pastafarian" whenever anyone asks me about my religion, as "Agnostic leaning towards atheism" is too long and bothersome to say and inevitably lea...

Re: Long haired cute geek boys wanted!

Re: "Urgent Mission" Discussion

I'm a long time reader, first time writer... and when i saw the last comic, i just had to pop in and throw in my two cents. THANK YOU!!! there is little which bugs me more in my electrostatics, or electrodynamics classes more than teh fact that by convention, the negatives and posotives are reversed...
