Re: Pant Thread (because we need more panting)

And my phone is gone. And the bartenders, after telling me all night that the best time to ask them is at the end, just brush me off at the end. Hopefully it wasn't stolen, but no matter what, this is going to be a GIANT pain in the ass. Fuuuuck.

Re: Screechings of the Great Unwashed (Meander to the Morgue

An arduino would be perfect to use, you can either get the module with bluetooth or wifi, or build it yourself. You'd need to have the receiver on the robot, and then use your computer as the transmitter. Depending on range, radio might actually be a better, and cheaper bet. Typically for that sort...

Re: Screechings of the Great Unwashed (Meander to the Morgue

I'm interested in trying to build a "robot" with sensors, motors and what-have-you. I need it to be expandable, too, so I can add on stuff as I go. There's just one major thing I want: I want to remotely control it from my computer, and send it commands over wifi or bluetooth. Is there so...

Looking for beard advice. I recently shaved off my mustache and to some degree my upper cheeks. Can't seem to decided if my resulting facial hair looks alright. Should I shave more, and if so, where? Re: Pant Thread (because we need more panting)

I always try and give a somewhat decent tip to delivery drivers (doing that job in a Canadian winter has to SUCK), but that's normally pooled between several people. Bartenders I also tip, because I worked at one for a bit, and I know how thankless it is. But sometimes, you just don't have time to g...

Have you tried with a different scope? The one you have might just be borked. The only other thing I can think of, since you get expected measurements with a floated scope (I'm pretty sure handhelds are floated as well), is that you're getting a negative voltage at the return or something? Elizabeth Swan becomes a pirate. As does Will, and to a certain extant, Norrington. As much as they're played up as heroes, pirates are still actually scallywags and villains.
