Re: 4chan leads DDoS attacks against MPAA, RIAA

It must've cost them something to deal with this "bringing the servers back up after a crash" situation, and they'll be paying people to secure their system against future attacks, which I imagine is pretty much useless... It might also inspire and/or inform people about the whole case for...

Re: 4chan leads DDoS attacks against MPAA, RIAA

I have no clue, but sys.4chan.org, the subdomain apparently in charge of adding new posts, is not responding, so I suppose what is truly happening is that this part of the website has been taken down around 2:40, possibly by moot to put an end to the DDoS by cutting the communication lines responsib...

4chan leads DDoS attacks against MPAA, RIAA

I'm surprised there's nothing about this in N&A yet... http://www.zdnet.com/blog/igeneration/mpaa-down-riaa-next-an-e-protest-over-piracy/6217 ZDNet's article: Anonymous members of 4chan launched a co-ordinated DDoS attack against the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), protest...

Re: World of Warcraft XKCD Guild!

To me, it's more of a "Meh, I wouldn't mind starting anew in WoW, I won't necessarily be playing much and I'd like to have some people to chat with occasionally, especially if I know we have some common interest." thing.

I don't think we're aiming for anything hardcore here...

I would join if it's a reroll guild where I can level up casually with occasionally someone online to chat with.

My preferences:
-EST timezone
-Horde (but that's not very important to me)
-PvP or RP-PvP server, because I love world PvP

EU or US servers? I have accounts on both, I'd just have to cancel/activate subscriptions.

I'm sure the i is not pronounced eye though, since I've only seen that sound used for an i in germanic languages. For the sum, once again, I think it's...

We could also assume that shorter people have a higher chance of being bullied through their youth, which leads to additional costs.

I think you just selectively picked things that make life for tall people cost more, but you can probably find a lot for short people too.

I had to mess with the brightness/contrast a bit in The Gimp because as you can see, there was a shitload of light coming from that window behind me, so the picture might look a little surreal where the adjustments took place.

Does anyone know how the initial placement is determined from the 5 placement matches? Is the Win/Loss ratio all that counts or do they take into account things such as APM, Average Unspent Resources, Army Value, etc.?

If it's just the Win/Loss ratio, then what are the Wins->League values?
