Re: Limbaugh would go to Costa Rica if Obama healthcare pass

This was alluded to earlier, but just to clarify he did say he would go to Costa Rica for medical treatment not to permanently live. He didn't say he would move out of the country if it passed. So we will have to wait until he needs medical treatment to see if his actions back his words.

Re: Toyota Answers to Congress?

I am uneasy with the Congress calling all these hearings. They are just following the whims of the people is an explanation, but not a very good reason to do it. Which I agree with that explanation and I don’t think you were trying to equivocate them, but just to be clear because we understand why s...

I do not think that government creating an entirely new agency to provide health insurance is a good idea. The new bureaucratic overhead would be wasteful when there are already entities incorporated for the sole objective of providing insurance. Those insurance companies are also not making large p...

Re: Wrong About Obama II

The reason the senate bill is not getting passed is because it is not liberal enough. The house Democrats don't want to pass one unless it has the public option in it, which is what I am objecting to. And yes it may be a gold mine for private insurance by forcing people to buy in but I think that is...

I am saying once something is targeted then it is slowly becomes more acceptable to start banning it. Re: New York State to ban SALT

I'm sure there was a time when people thought banning smoking in bars was a publicity stunt as well. This probably won't pass now, but it is getting the idea out there and will slowly become more acceptable. I would not be surprised if proposals like this started gaining more traction in certain are...

I do not think handing it over to the government will suddenly make the system perfect and get rid of all the wrong doing.
