Re: The Spide (Image) From Hell

Now that zipper spider (or banana spider, whichever you prefer) is harmless, but I can see why it freaks people the fuck out. I think it's the bright alternating colors that makes your brain scream "It's poisonous!" Good defense on the spider's part. personally, it's all the legs and the ...

Necro'd! because I have a question- Does anyone remember/know anything about Rockstar Cola? perhaps the walking/running discussion should be split into it's own thread? I have a question for walkers/runners... Anyway, I will say that this diet would have to be hell on someone who didn't like meat or eggs. Or caesar salads. Or, during the low-carb period, whole grain stuff. I like all of those things, though, so it works well enough. yeah. tried it for like 2 days. couldn't do it. I have a tremendous amou...

what the weight watchers did for me, moreso than motivation was give me focus, and a guideline. I knew I should be eating better, but I had no approximate value for 'better'. So with their little points system, it gave me an idea of how much I should be taking in, and what that meant. so now, though...

I'm another one who has heard it, but only in the context of a date, with no negative connotations. It didn't seem any worse of a phrase than the completely benign 'splitting the bill'. it's not overly common, but it wouldn't cause anyone to need clarification I don't believe. While the wiki is not, in itself, a good reference, I often find it to be a decent gateway reference, for lack of a better term. Because a lot of sources will be cited in any decent wiki article, you can often use the links at the bottom as a jumping off point for your own research.

I drove only an automatic until I bought my new car. I bought it and couldn't drive it and was TERRIFIED at the thought of a manual, but it was cheap enough that I figured I'd learn. Once I learned to drive it, that was it. I'll not get another automatic if I can avoid it I think.
