Re: Are MacBooks worth it?

You definitely pay a premium. I'm not sure exactly for what...except looks and status. Thinkpad has been the choice for corporate america for the last 10 years.

Re: Why are Microsoft evil?

Classic backlash of the have nots against the haves. Google is starting to get the same resentment with their "too big for their britches" perception. Anytime one force wields that much power, it can be an uncomfortable dynamic for those who cross their path in business or otherwise.

Re: Facebook vs Myspace vs Twitter: Social Network Wars

Myspace is clearly on the way out. Still don't get Twitter...what's the appeal of telling all your friends that you just took a dump? Seems like a massive productivity killer at best. But maybe that's why it's so popular.

Re: Do people get paid to work with linux?

Good LAMP programmers are hard to find. If you've got the skills, then you should be able to find lots of short term work and parlay that into a steady gig.

Re: Online Coding Jobs

In case you don't know, Craigslist is littered with people looking for help but usually willing to pay a fraction of what it's worth. But if you can weed thru the BS, there's good work to be had.
