"Balloon" would be a more appropriate simile for a vehicle designed to operate beneath a sea of air. Then, of course, the subaru pun from mouseover text would need redoing :)

Does anybody know how playing a piano compares? Some pieces can be pretty intense, although admittedly you may use more energy to move your arms around than pressing actual keys.

The flight of bumblebee would be a good piano-keys-to-energy candidate :lol:

How would this propulsion work if you didn't carry the gun and ammo with you, but were accelerated by bullets fired from below? Into some shield that would protect you from getting killed, obviously.

I mean, as you go faster, you start losing traction, so would it be possible to attain escape velocity by running on a spherical body? Or better, riding on wheels, since running is rather a series of jumps, and a jump could take you clean off. I guess not... even in the picture in the article itself...
