LAN switch isn't working ;(

I'm using a Dynex 10/100 Fast Ethernet switch in my sons' room, both of them have one computer plugged into the switch. The switch is plugged into a netgear router in my office. Recently, both of them would get unknown errors when trying to access the internet, the status bar would say that it is re...

Do you know the graph of sine? Is there another point where sin(x) = sqrt(1/2)? When you take the squareroot of both sides, you are implicitly assuming that sin(x) is positive. What would happen if you made a different assumption? Use cases for this. OK, I'm now going to assume that sin(x) is negat...

For this homework we are supposed to Solve the equation for 0<=x<=360 and to circle the principal values So here's the question I'm stuck on: 2sin^2x-1=0 Here is what I tried to do: add 1 to right side : 2sin^2(x)=1 divide right side by 2 : sin^2(x)=1/2 square root right side: : sinx=sqrt(1/2) take ...

MAKE SURE THE ALARMS HAVE DIFFERENT NOISES! When alarm1 goes off, turn it off. Go back to bed. When alarm2 goes off, turn it off,...

Naw, you'll get by fine with regular bools, even if they take a byte (or four) each. After all, 2 million numbers is 2 MB (or 8), which is nothing. Frobnicating bits only reduces that by 1/8 and increases the obfuscation level, which is hardly worth it if you don't grok the algorithm already. No ki...
