Actually I did not realise that today was 7/8/9 until i wrote that, cool. Today is 8/7/9. The American date format is weird, illogical and just plain wrong. You might as well apply it to the time, as well, and call quarter past three in the afternoon 15:15; just to resolve any ambiguity for people ...
