Actually it's partially to prove that music can go in many other different ways than currently thought, as well as showing that there is so much more to write in just C, because at his point of time people were saying conventional music no longer has anything new to bring after the impressionism of...

Actually the manufacturer that makes the iPad (in China) also has a side product which is the EXACT SAME THING for about 1/3 of the price. you can probably find news on it but not be able to actually buy it. I think it's called the ePad or wPad or something.

I completely agree, minimalism is awesome. I'm just wondering when it became so popular and mainstream. It seems everywhere I go (online) I hear people promoting minimalism, either through one composer or through a band that uses it and so on, and I'm just curious when it became big. Komives is a Fr...

Really a 7200 HD isn't necissary. A 5400 RPM HD will load things slower, but that's not too big a problem. There are some i7 machines just released that are around $1000. It sounds to me like your nitpicking the realism of a fantasy world; I don't think that's really the point. I do in fact, think some of your above points are still moot issues in the film. There's always room for more detail and more backstory, but sometimes, the director has to make a decision as ...

It's like one of those RTS's where they balance the two sides by giving each side equivalent versions of the same unit! Heh... Avatar is hardly science fiction, though. More environmentalists/leftist promotional-ism. I don't mean to start a flame war but there's so many holes in the "science" of the film that it hardly makes real science sense. I suggest Firefly/Serenity (which has been mentioned before) Dollhouse...

In its heyday, classical music was popular music. For various reasons you point out, it isn't anymore. There are forms of popular music which aspire to--and achieve--artistry. We no longer need to expect the same out of orchestral music. As far as I know, anything that survives long enough becomes ...

Second, I absolutely despise the 'indie rocker'. Indie rockers don't explore music because it is good, but because they want to be elitist morons. Don't get me wrong, I like many indie bands and I think many of them contribute many new ideas to the development of modern music. However, the people w...
