Re: Bioreactor pump

Sorry for the late reply. I have been using peristaltic pumps before but I could not get them to go slow enough while still maintaining pressure. Going to try some much thinner piping but I will have to see if a biofilm blocks it rapidly. Thanks for your suggestions though.

Bioreactor pump

Hi there I am currently running an experiment looking into the degradation of some toxic waste. We are using a consortium of bacteria to break it down in continuous flow through a set of bioreactors (buckets with a matrix for a bacterial film to grow on). What I am looking for is a pump that will pr...

New Baldur's Gate game?

There seem to be some rumors flying around about a possible new Baldur's Gate game or perhaps a re release. The teaser website is "http://baldursgate.com/" with a few more teasers in the source code. Dare I get my hopes up? This game is my childhood and me and my brother still play it now,...

Re: The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim : Dual Wield Bacon

Hi Guys I will be being given this game around xmass time, but was wondering about whether where I got it from will affect any steam DLC or if there will be other ways of accessing the DLC . Terrified of spoilers atm, and havent been able to find the info without risking too much chance of a spoiler...

Homework: Population genetics Fis values

Hi, I don't usually use these stats, and so I'm having a few issues that I can't seem to resolve myself. I have 16 individuals, and four different gene loci all of which have multiple alleles. I want to understand how inbred this population is, and so I ran my numbers through gene pop as I was unsur...

Seems she has some sort of sun burn, which is odd as there has been a general lack of sun, and its winter. On the upside it should get better if i keep it clean for a few weeks.

Re: Fighting Cats

Yeah its a case of seeing injuries when i return, or the larger male trying to beat up the girl if im dozing but still have my eyes open. Ive had them both since kittens for about 2 years, but the boy cat has got slowly worse. He knows hes doing wrong because as soon as he realises ive seen, he bolt...

Fighting Cats

I have a pair of cats (brother and sister, both neutered) who no longer seem to get along. The larger brother likes to jump on and beat up his sister, this is less of a problem when im not there as the boy cat doesn't bully her if he thinks I am around or awake. Any tips on how to deal with this?

Last night, I got into that wonderful place called the dark corner of my room when I have my little breakdowns. I pulled it together for a while and went to the kitchen. I just wanted to indulge in some, any food and I started losing it again. I hit that point where I just wanted to stop thinking, ...

Re: Want to buy an Ebook Reader...

Hi, im also considering getting one and would be interested in hearing more from some experienced users. Personally I am holding out for the Bebook 2. It looks nice, has uk wifi and can hold a whole lot of books, not to mention the touch screen (although I cannot see myself using that too much).
