Re: 1602: Linguistics Club

So, who is right, then? SomeGuyNamedDavid or owneroperator? When I googled I found lots of results stating it meant "once in 1.5 years or 18 months", but it seemed like they all copy-pasted from each other, so this doesn't really mean much. what's great is that my name is David... so I am...

Every 1.5 years, not every 18 months.
So, depending on when the first meeting was it could be any date.
I'm going with July the 2nd though.

Re: 1446: "???"

What's the thread protocol for that, mods? My suggestion for protocol is that the most recently updated name be put in the title (the number gives a consistency) with all "Formerly ___" listed either in the title (if there's enough room) or at the top of the OP. Same with the title text. ...

Also, now that I've noticed the comet looks a little like a dinosaur (see the eye and smile) balancing an egg on its nose I can't unsee it...

Edit: not just any dinosaur... It's a spaceraptor!

Re: 1446: "???"

This is probably the most Time-y comic since Time, so we're quite excited about it. I wonder if the OTR drew this one in advance, or if he is livedrawing it along with the landing. If the latter, well, it just got a "go" on the fourth go/no-go call so he's not going to end up drawing a fr...
