Re: 2060: "Hygrometer"
This comic has to be directed towards me. I own multiple micrometers, a chronometer and really really want a barometer. Not the electronic kind but a real, honest to goodness mercury stick one. And the chronometer, a 1940's Hamilton Watch Company made one, is one of the most beautifully made mechani...

Ahhhhh....autogyros......anyone of a certain age will remember the small ads for the Bensen B-8 Gyro-Copter in the advertisers section of Popular Science or Mechanics Illustrated. Bensen sold thousands of plans for them. If anyone is interested, plans for various autogyros cans be looked at from her...

I think the perceived passage of time may be related to the time since a thing happened. Something that takes X time now is perceived as X/10 in ten years, and X/30 after 30 years. Or something like that. Speaking of predictable things: http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/timeghost.png Darn...beat me to it...

Not trying to derail the conversation back towards religion, but there's one major point that bothers me about the idea of making marriage a religious-only ceremony, and calling the legal recognition by the state by some other name.
