Re: 2008: "Irony Definition"

The premise of this comic is silly. Other Guy loves being pedantic!

I know Randall tried to counter this interpretation with a squiggly-of-annoyance but I don't buy it.

Thanks, Randall. I think she'll make a good, wonkish, progressive, realistic president, and I hope she gets the chance.

I am confused as to how this diagram clearly has four distinct areas and only three labels.

The panel where only the cellphones drop to the ground is the clearest indication yet that everyone in XKCD is in fact naked.

Yeah. This situation is too realistic and dangerous to be funny.

Re: 0942: "Juggling"

I thought the joke was that, this being a comic strip, there's no way to tell that in the first "juggling" panel, the balls are actually in motion; and so the remaining panels subvert our expectation of motion.

Yeah, the stacked "food" in the middle of the board has to be a reference to some game, but I can't think what.

Except the fact remains that this "comic" is nothing more than Randall saying "I support science because it is awesome". Well, no, he's saying "I support science because it's useful and effective." Somewhat more contentful. Although it's also worth remembering that the...
