Re: 0919: "Tween Bromance"

Can someone please translate? I know it is a train wreck of the English language, but I would like to know what he is attempting to say. Red is generally grammar/ spelling errors, blue is tense problems and confusing structure. They tend to mingle. A lot. (Indention) I actually enjoy speaking this ...

Re: Misheard phrases from childhood

I always assumed that the word "Volleyball" was Ball y ball, that and i assumed euthanasia was the actual Chinese children. Made for some awkward political conversations. Words can be misheard if there isn't a difference between the pronunciations of two phrases. Speech programs are especi...

:)
This warmed my heart. I am a big fan of Carl Sagan, and it sounds like something he would do.

Re: "Movie Narrative Charts" Discussion

Haha. Once again thank you randal for the awsome Comic!
I wonder if it will wind up in the store as a poster? I would buy it, absolutely no question lol.

After 6 times, primer has started to make a semblence of sense, still time travel is some weird sh*t.

Originality fail.

It was also in some old strongbad skits. Just becuase it has been done before doesn't make it irrelevent.

Funny, though the alt text could be so much better.

Re: "Bag Check" Discussion

Haha, great strip. It's all about presentation, the airports want the people to feel safe. The security needed to actually insure safety is almost impractical, so they do the next best thing and pretend to be doing a good job. A couple reporters actually smuggled guns on board an airplane. http://ww...

Ha, great strip.
I'm always the one that takes these rhetorical statements literally.
And I like thinking about dinosaurs.

Re: "Fall Foliage" Discussion

Alas! Where I live, the cold has come, but not the pretty leaves; a bunch went overnight from green to brown. Looks like the leaves are going to go all Captain Kirk, and die pathetically. Dude, why would you pay six thousand dollars for a piece of software that won't even install natively on your Li...

Re: "Scary" Discussion

The scary thing to me, is what will strike people as terrifying in another decade. "It was before my time, but I'm old enough to tell you about Perez Hilton" *shudder* the interval's getting smaller because technology's advancing faster(how many people here have used a joystick?). I owned ...

Re: "Conversations" Discussion

While being an annoying technophile, I have not yet crossed the line of using my laptop on the toilet. That just seems so unsacred on so many levels, just the idea of subjecting my macbook to something like that gives me the chills. Also, I doubt anyone wants to have a conversation while in throws o...

Re: What is your favourite book?

I would have to say my recent favorite is "The life of PI" It's an incredible look at life and religion. Then there's Discworld, which is very funny. I've been reading the Sandman series, which is also brilliant and epic...now if I could only stop having nightmares. ++?????++ Out of Cheese...
