Okay, I guess it still doesn't make sense, but whatever.

How do we know what electron orbitals look like?

Is it observational, or is it purely mathematical? I've also been learning about hybridized orbitals, and I couldn't find an explanation as to how we know what 'combined' orbitals look like. I'm assuming it's a mathematical model based on what we know about electrons, but I couldn't find anything to...

I reset my score to 0. Modify rule 6: posting on a prime number loses 20 points. 1. In each post, you can add, remove or modify one rule. 2. Rules 1 and 2 are exempt from rule 1. e. You may not triple post, at the cost of your score being swapped with the person with the smallest score. 4. Everyone ...

Re: Minigame Thread

I change rule 6 from 20 points for powers of two after the hour to 20 points for prime numbers after the hour.

Favorite pizza: still cheese...

(Shouldn't I have 10 points? 20 for power of two rule minus 10 for procrastinating rule. Maybe I missed something.)

Probability Distribution of Data with no Repeated Data Points?

Here's the data (100 data points): Probability Distribution 2.PNG The blue line is just an idea of what the probability distributio...
