Re: 1916: "Temperature Preferences"

I'm assuming that Halifax refers to the one in Nova Scotia rather than the one in the People's Republic of Yorkshire. We're not that much colder than that there London up 'ere. Bradford, Yorkshire, is not listed. It's titled "where to live" so of course Bradford, Yorkshire, is not listed....

Re: 1190: "Time"

Hourglasses don't usually contain water, tides, trebuchets, poles, or rope. (Or people, who would likely not survive the first turning of said hourglass). People usually have faces. I suspect an examination of the length and breadth of xkcd would turn up a lot of unrealistic moments. (Depending on ...

Here is Cueball discovering the Scroll Trench Mystery Object. It has been speculated that the mystery object may be a giant fossilised human penis (male). This is why Cueball has gasped and clapped his hands to his mouth in amazement.

For some unknown reason my Grandmother refused to let my Dad write with his left hand - she made him use his right hand. Traffic on the whole during this period is driven by ICT and the massive response to 1190: "Time". That traffic can be seen to taper off as Madness got into full gear, but remember that the Time thread was mostly exempted from the filters, and I doubt we'll see a significant increase over...

I thought it was the flavor aid you needed to be careful of, but now I'm not so sure. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki...

Excuse my ignorace everyone but don't footprints erode over time? How can we be sure the depth of the footprint is the same? The depth diference between running at 30km/h and running at a normal speed is not very big and I would say the error margin is very big and the cause of the unusual speed. A...
