Re: [SAFESPACE] LGBTIQQA Thread - Queer Support!

So I discovered this amazing app that may be of interest to some people here. It's called FaceApp, it's for iOS and Android, and it's a neural network based facial image reprocessor that can do a bunch of stuff like aging and youthifying and making people smile but most interesting to me is it can f...

Re: 1822: "Existential Bug Report"

I had a thought a year or so ago thinking on what use would a human civilization capable of moving the Earth even have for doing so, and settled on the answer "history/nostalgia/education/entertainment". The same reason we preserve the ruins of monuments of ancient civilizations whose reas...

It's probably a safe bet that whatever is around by then will not count as human, even if humans never go extinct per se. Oh yeah I've seen clam chowder in bread bowls too, though clam chowder is not really a thing on my radar so it didn't come to mind. To my taste, clam chowder is a perfectly good potato soup ruined by some slimy seafood. Speaking of which, I've also seen potato soup served in bread bowls. And tomato ...

It's too late to give this further thought, but I suspect the above reasoning fails for the same reason that a collection of matter that may, in some circumstances, fail to execute whatever functionality we define as life, may nevertheless still be alive, in other circumstances. In my experience frozen-unfrozen bread is best heated by convection oven, not microwave. Or if you're toasting it anyway, putting it straight into the toaster. It's the microwaving that ruins it. Microwaving generally ruins bread, frozen or otherwise.
