Re: The Rules of Life

1. You regret more things that you don't do than things that you do. Try something on the basis that you've never done it before. 2. Lead by example, don't be the supervisor that makes everyone grumble about double standards. 3. Always be cheerful, no one likes a bitter person and its worth it to br...

Re: White House and Congress prepare DADT repeal

The same way it deals with partners of the opposite sex. While a short answer, it is entirely insufficient. You are permitted live with and have sexual relations with officers that you marry ; to have sexual relations with any other officers is conduct unbecoming. There are logistical problems that...

Re: Your First Job

First job was working as a swim instructor/lifeguard at a day camp when I was 16. Pay was decent but the guy in charge of the camp hated having to hire as many lifeguards as he did. Re: Are you trying to gain/loose weight? [poll]

Voted not underweight but want to gain weight because according to bmi I'm in the normal range. The people I work with on the other hand keeping telling me to eat more and questioning if I'm strong enough to do stuff. Personally I wouldn't mind putting on some more muscle mass so I wouldn't get thos...

Re: Women on submarines?

Female in the military here. While I'm all for having women serve on subs the first women to do so would be treated pretty badly. From my experience the guys like their boys club and get resentful when girls show up to play and I'm in a place where women have been for quite a wile.
