Nanocomputing vs current hardware

Hey all, for my Computing class at university, I have to do a presentation on the envisioned speeds of nanocomputing against current computers. It would be a good start to know what is considered the average power for a computer right now, in 2010. I'll be focusing on desktops, by the way. Here's my...

Bugatti Veyron Typography V2

For any of you who saw my other 'My Art' topic, I've remade the Bugatti Veyron typographical piece I featured there. It's pretty big, so I'll link it to DA: http://stoned-hippo.deviantart.com/art/Bugatti-Veyron-Typography-V2-147711745 25 hours and actually not too much dedication, it was quite enjoy...

As far as tablets go, Wacom is the best by far. I've got a Volito 2, which is brilliant for what I'd ever need it for. That's pretty cheap, too, roughly £50.

I doubt your friend will need an LCD one yet, and I doubt you'd want to buy one either, they cost thousands.

There's a car insurance advert here in Britain, confused.com, one of those compare all quotes websites. In the advert they make a point that they saved money from last year's confused.com search. Well, that's obvious considering you've got an extra years driving experience and probably no claims bon...

Best Star Trek game?

I'm a huge Trekkie, but I've never got into the games. What is the general consensus on the best game? The franchise spans lots of genres, too, right? I'm not really into RTS games, if there are any Star Trek ones, I think I read about one once. Star Trek: Online comes out soon, I'll be having a loo...

Re: How Should I Draw Webcomics?

If you notice, lots of webcomics incorporate the artist's inability to draw as part of its style. Webcomics like xkcd and C&H etc are not good artistically, but they make up for it with the witty content. Just play to your strengths; if you can't draw noses, have characters that don't have noses...
