Re: 0955: "Neutrinos"

On a non-technical level, some of the coverage has noted that relativistic physics is necessary for GPS receivers to attain the accuracy they do. There seems to be a slightly odd logical sequence of events if the measurements that appear to disprove a theory are reliant on that theory being correct...

Re: 0900: "Religions"

There are fundamental differences between the three. Jews believe that they are waiting for a savior, and are currently "saved" through ritual sacrifice. Christians, however, believe that the savior has come in Christ, and therefore follow his teachings - namely that it is through belief ...

Re: "Literally" Discussion

"Didn't anybody question you?"
"Of course, but when they did Patrick would say..."

Re: "MicroSD" Discussion

Surely they're only that small so you can put them into cameras, cellphones, etc. I mean if you're not going to do that, you can get much higher capacity devices in a conveniently larger form factor. Or use the SD adapter that comes with nearly all MicroSD cards anyway.

Re: "Semicontrolled Demolition" Discussion

The problem with Randall's theory is that there is no limit to the extremity of claims. "The two planes were actually alien spacecrafts." There, I just shifted where the truth lies. Soon, another poster will further demonstrate my point by coming up with an even more extreme claim. Only h...
