Asking Britain to go without electricity for 20 days just to fill one of their lakes with tea seems like it might be a hard sell.
You, sir, do not understand the British. 8-)

Yea don't get wound up about it. It is the daily mail, and the whole country knows that half of their reported news isn't true, or has been biased to such an extent that reading it may as well create narrow mindedness. Sadly that isn't the case. Most people you know might realise it but a vast numb...

Two questions come to mind;

Is he an idiot who really hates the band or was he deliberately out to give them free publicity (be it for laughs or money)?

And (since they appear to have given up), did everyone get all their money back or was the 5% still taken off the top?

I disagree with his core politics but doesn't he make a legitimate point regarding the Constitution? It wasn't written with equal rights for women and homosexuals in mind so maybe it is better to bring in legislation designed for purpose and in the modern context rather than bend and stretch the Con...

From the article: Northumbria police said the men were not arrested for watching or distributing the video, but on suspicion of burning the Qur'an. Wow. My U.S. perspective makes that seem awful and wrong. If it's about "inciting violence", that quote makes no sense. It takes quite some s...

I don't know why you're suddenly bringing up a moral argument against burning Korans. I'm not. I'm bringing up a moral argument for taking responsibility for predictable indirect consequences of your actions and that just because you have a right to do something doesn't mean that it's always right ...

So, what we're suggesting is that something that can't interact with anything is changing something that can't be changed. This is beginning to sound like an episode of some sci-fi show. We should probably realign the deflector dish to emit a tachyon burst. That solves everything we don't understand.
