ninetynine

This is my first post in like, 3 months since summer. Wooo. Anyway, I picked up a cd down in Pittsburgh last night called "767" by an indie band called "ninetynine" for 2.50 in the cheap bin. Amazing! Has anyone heard of it, listened to them, or have any other great music like th...

Computer for File Storage

My upcoming project just for sweetness (having over 1 TB of data is awesome in my mind) is to make a computer just for hosting files. I've looked at all kinds of raid configurations and am wondering a couple things. 1. What OS should I run on this computer? 2. What file systems should I have the dri...

2006 Chevy Cobalt at 267ish dollars a month (17.95% apr because I have no credit established)... I just can't wait to refinance in half a year... I pay 300 dollars a month just to take extra chunks towards my principal.

Cobalts are nice because they are so cheap, even new!

Aha! I just had this conversation with my uncle a week ago when he was schooling me in chess. We must of talked but at the end we concluded (Note: this may not be correct). Chess is a closed abstract system, thus solvable. The time it would take to solve chess by use of modern computers is scary. (m...

Well, I dislike my job, a lot. I've been trying to get a new job in my area, but the economy is more depressing than romantic comedies by yourself.
