On the topic of fading/blurring, keep in mind that tattoos can be re-inked. They'll show up a bit darker than before, more than likely, but you still can bring back the definition to them.

You could also look into Russian cavalry officer uniforms. They're a very dark blue, and often had black trenchcoats, similar to the Nazi SS officers. Plus, the Russians almost always win, so you don't have to look like the losing team!

Got a new lappy via Black Friday...the background is one of the Win7 default included ones, it'll be replaced soon though. Also, thanks to Zeroignite for the Rainmeter theme, currently using it on all of my machines.
