Re: 1164: "Home Alone"

I was looking for a "like" button... I would watch this, maybe kid-teen vandals? reversed of what they did with the karate kid (teen in the 80's to actual kid in the 2000's version). Throw some teen-gang initiation and MC defend his house from them... with obvious immortality thrown in to ...

Re: 1156: "Conditioning"

Could the problem of bird "picking" the right target be solved by involving a handful of willing neighbors with a shared disdain for the thumping music? Set up 3-10 different stations to go off randomly to prevent patterns from forming. This way the sound triggers the reaction of following...

Still not certain if I should start saving/planning on how to actually achieving that sweater, or if I should run to the shower to get the feeling of that silk off my mind... odd feeling, not much else has caused such mixed emotions :/

Re: 1077: "Home Organization"

Recently started looking for an apartment/studio and will be moving soon. Having lived at home for most of college, then going from roommate to roommate since then, I am realizing that most of my stuff will fit in a very very small uhaul or even just a single trip in a friend's pick up truck. Grante...

http://birthdayshoes.com great website for vibram news/models, etc. They also review other "minimalist" shoes that don't have the "weird gecko foot" but retain the benefits of it. http://www.vivobarefoot.com/us/ also has several styles that are dressy-ish that could pass for most...

I wouldn't say that wikipedia is a pure "loss of productivity" site... then again, I only absorb it on my own time, or only at work when its actual research time, which technically is a net gain of productivity. I'm slightly more concerned with my iPhone's history... whatever I see on a bi...

Re: 1007: "Sustainable"

And why aren't bricks sustainable, anyway? Aren't they just hardened mud and wet clay? I can hardly think that the world will run out of CLAY soon. It's not so much the physical components of the brick, but rather the large amount of energy used in firing them. The firing process can also be respon...

Re: 0976: "Sail"

I think both the boat and sail get smaller in the last panel, sort of a "zoom out" to be able to catch both the bubble and the ship.

So... in a frictionless surface, or a frozen ocean (lake?) would the wind be able to move the boat before forming a bubble?

Or find a Molly/butterfly nut and just use the drywall itself. Those things actually can hold more than screws through studs. The down side being you need to make a hole the size of rhode island to fit those things through

I guess I'm spoiled, I know the Fedex guy by name, and he goes out of his way to knock/ring doorbell and wait at most that I remember (when I slept in one day) about 3 minutes while I distinguished the knocking from dreaming and finally made it to the door. He also personally asked what to do if we ...

reminds me of: http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=299 I think back then when the "flying car" and spaceship ideas were our greatest dreams, we kidna ignored that we would most likely need computers smart enough to navigate said vehicles, which at the time we were nowhere near being abl...
