If it was working perfectly, how did a particle get into the wrong position? I like to imagine the big bang was caused by a time machine suddenly appearing because someone tried to reach the year NULL. Very, very close. Progress bars are good, grinding just for the sake of filling them, are not.
Jakob Skjerning made a parody about it which is better than a thousand words. Please avoid using progress bars like this.

Games should be based on an addictive gameplay, not on progress bars or similar.
