Re: Games you can't remember the title of.

I played this possibly around 2002? May have had it earlier but I can't quite remember the time frame. I want to say it has something to do with the name Shogun but I can't find a thing correlating to that. It's a PC game, I think it was third person. Now I remember clearly you could either pilot me...

Re: Earliest music memories.

My earliest memory is definitely "Shine" By Collective Soul. I would sing IT all the time from the time I was 3-6.

OHHHHWHOAAAAA HEAVEN, LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE DOWN.

Re: Steven Erikson - why does the man hates his readers?

I actually just finished Reapers Gale and you know I honestly like his writing. At times it does become sort of frustrating(It took me 4 trys to actually finish the first book because of that but now I absolutely love them) but most of the time it just makes me want to keep reading so I can get back...

Re: Split checks

I live in Ga as well and I have never ever had this problem. Whereabouts do you live? I live pretty close to metro Atlanta so I don't know what part that would play in it but any time any one of my friends has asked if they could split the check it was done without a comment(Unless it was out of ear...

Re: Steven Erikson (About Midnight Tides)

So...After I finished the book I'm still left wondering. Why was Trull banished in the previous book? Unless I just completely missed something I don't understand. IT'S EATING ME ALIVE AHHHH.

Please don't let me have missed something uber important ):

Steven Erikson (About Midnight Tides)

So I've been reading Mr. Eriksons books for around 3 months now and I'm almost done with the 5th book Midnight TIdes. BUT, while reading this book in particular it's just been bothering me that the story took such a 360 like it did. House of Chains took place after Trull Sengar had been banished and...

Re: Recommend one artist

I just stumbled upon The Bird and the Bee. It's some pretty decent music. The videos aren't half bad either.

Thing to do in Edmonton eh?

So I'm heading up to Edmonton this Saturday for two weeks and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for things to see, eat, jump on-in- or around, etc. I'm down to do just about everything short of hiring a hooker to do my dirty work. Thanks! Edit: I should clarify I was there for 10 days ...

Re: Things you remember watching but can't remember the name

I remember a movie where a guy was helping some kid I believe. Later on the kid turned out to be one of the aliens(Or something not human)? They had backwards legs sort of like a dogs hind legs. That's honestly all I remember and possibly too vague.

Re: Games you can't remember the title of.

This was probably late 90's Early 2000's. PC game. It was an RTS and I swear to god it had something to do with Mars, but then again maybe not. I really remember the one race you could use had these little grubs that could burrow in the ground and become mines, I think that's all I did in the game. ...

Jóga- Bjork(The live version!)
And somehow I still listen to the whole Fortress album almost everyday by Protest the Hero.

Re: Recommend one artist

I searched the topic but found nothing about Die Antwoord. They're from South Africa and let's just say its....um...interesting? It's pretty goofy but if you actually listen to some of the lyrics it's really quite good. I can't post links yet but just look them up on that thar youtube. Enjoy

I'm also going to have to go with R.R Martin, though I really like Steven Erikson as well. And also, first post! Hello everyone.
