Re: Corrupt-a-wish

I wish for a tame, horse sized, flying turtle that I can ride wherever I want to go.

Granted, but the turtle is sentient and and hates you, so one day he decides to throw you off and kill you.

I wish I could grow the hair on my head at will.

-Sitting on the couch at night alone, when I have nothing to do, and thoughts full of regret and worry and longing force themselves through my mind. It's depressing. -Having nothing to do by itself is pretty sad too. -Being with friends and having to make myself laugh at the jokes that are made beca...

Re: No more "classics" (xkcdsucks.com discussion)

Damn, xkcdexplained.com is getting almost as judgmental of the comic as xkcdsucks. And they're a lot more annoying about it too. xkcdsucks at least gives reasons for why they hate specific comics. The explanation of today's comic on xkcdexplained was just "The author hates women." They put...

Re: So what other webcomics do you kind folk read?

I read xkcd, Cyanide and Happiness, Dinosaur Comics, a softer world, Great (as well as the other stuff on kiwisbybeat) StupidFox, and Daisy Owl. (Although that one hasn't updated since early June...) I also occasionally read others like Penny Arcade, White Ninja, and Pictures for Sad Children. Oh ye...

Re: No more "classics" (xkcdsucks.com discussion)

I..I'm not exactly sure what to think about this idea anymore. I got into xkcd, and like everything else I enjoy, I developed a minor obsession. Then I went on vacation, and came back, showed pictures, talked to family, yadda yadda yadda, and sat down, terribly excited to read the six new xkcds. And...

Re: Awesome Student Quotes

When we were in class one day, one of our annoying, unusually quotable teachers told one of the students "*student*, if you won't be quiet, I'm putting you up in the rafters." The next day, he was absent, and apparently it had rained the night before, so there was a leak in the ceiling. Ou...

Modest Mouse doing Holiday in Cambodia or California Uber Alles by Dead Kennedys. I dunno why, I just think Isaac's voice would sound pretty sweet doing those songs.

When I go to restaurants, I sketch elaborate doodles on napkins and leave them there for waiters, and sculpt my bread into animals and whatnot, and make towers and buildings out of jelly and butter packets.

If I think of anything else, I'll post later.

Re: Do you make up stories in your head?

All the freaking time. I try to write it down, but once I start it just doesn't flow as well as it did on my head, so the furthest I've gotten is a couple chapters into a story that was far longer in my head. I know, I just can't bring myself to write my fantasies down, no matter how much I try. :(...

Re: Worst Dreams Ever

The worst dream I've ever had is a series of dreams; each as bad as the others. In these dreams, I find my long-lost love and we get together. Why's that so bad? Because when I wake up, for a few seconds, I think it's true. Then I realize it was just a dream. It's really depressing to think you've ...

Hate to bump an older topic, but I think a sexy halloween costume, handcuffs, lingerie, gift wrap, and a Happy Mother's day card might work.

Or, alternatively, walk in wearing a dark robe that covers your face with a few others wearing the same thing, purple kool aid, and rat poison.
