I was wondering, what have people thought of the new Os Gemos mural/graffiti, "The Giant of Boston" near South Station? It's been in the news recently for controversy. As far as I understand, the whole "controversy" is that the figure in the mural on the Greenway looks like it c...

There was a swap, but it was Word of God'd away as something Shirley probably woulda known. Also in that link, show-creator declares Abed catching the die as the "real" timeline.

I'm pretty sure the no-diceroll timeline had been previously established as the Prime Timeline. Everybody groans when Pierce brings up the Eartha Kitt story, indicating that they've heard it before. Shirley's reference to Britta's "marijuana lighter" was actually in the episode *before* Re...

I didn't love the last episode, I feel like Abed's always been entirely self-sufficient, capable of living, etc. this half of this season seems to be out to make Abed less functional, which I feel basically contradicts who he's been up until now. I was really conflicted about this. Not so much abou...

That reminds me, I felt like there was so many not-fully-explored things that it'd be cool to see fleshed out in, say, comic form. As a number of Whedonprojects seem to be. They'd be pre-end-of-universe prequels, obvs. Joey Comeau on is horror comedy still horror ? Maybe a little spoilery, but a...

Is "hedonist" really about receiving (and not a broader sense of 'participating')? I feel like there's no opposite because it's not one-sided.

There are plenty of sex words along the giver/receiver axis; methinks hedonist is bigger than that.

Gelsamel, I don't actually disagree with what you're saying. I don't really have time to sort thoughts into sentences, but I don't think Amy's actions/feelings were unjustified, I was just meta-complaining because she seems to get trapped a lot while Rory gets to be the hero.
