I am a strong believer in cognitive behavior theory. It's the idea that you choose how to react to goings-on in your life, and you can either react positively or negatively. But either way, you choose your thought processes and, in theory, your emotions. David Burns wrote "The Feeling Good Hand...

While I apologize for coming off as insincere, you should not assume that I am in a near-constant state of happiness. I've struggled with depression myself, and while I've had suicidal thoughts, I know I would never be able to go through with any of them. I was talking with a coworker today and she ...

van-dole (rhymes with hole) It's odd, I use it in langames and such and I've heard people cursing at vandolé (van-doh-lay) I also get weird things when I use Trozek (Troh-zehk), but everyone can get Delphinus (dell-fin-us) right. There is an Emperor Vandole in Secret of Mana. /obsessive nerdery

While I understand that some people hurt a lot, suicide is a really selfish thing to do. It affects so many people in your life, and those who aren't even directly connected to you (as the example above portrays).

From my own experiences, which are a bit different because I dated the guy for nearly a year, he told me he had a lot to apologize for, but the few times we hung out he would play dumb about what I "wanted to talk about." And I wasn't about to prompt anything out of him. Either way, it was...

I used to have pink gloves with bunnies and castles on them when I was a kid and the pictures would change color in the cold.

MAN, those gloves were AWESOME, and I bet they were sold at a garage sale or tossed in the garbage. D:

No no no, not glove, mitten! There are not a bunch of peninsulas in Michigan for the four fingers necessary to constitute a glove.

I prefer mittens when it's snowing anyways.
