I love my TI-83 with the scratched out ", ( )" buttons. My ( key is scratched out. Shows how much I take the shortcut of not closing parenthesis and quotes :P Oh, that was one of the things that *really* bugged me about the 89! I've only used one a little, but if my memory servers, leavin...

We even have some fancy SOC designs (System on a chip) that have full memory controllers, system memory, FSB, and southbridge on one dye. They're used in size limited designs. ATi came out with the first one I believe. I believe the Playstation 2 used one of those for Playstation 1 backwards compat...

Yes, just ACT. The SAT allows 89's (but not QWERTY's) and AP Calc test not only recommends graphing calculators but requires them. Hmm...they didn't let me use an 89 on the SATs...didn't really matter. You were better off without a calculator on that test :P. I've got a TI-80, a TI-83+ Silver, a TI...

I took the AP Calc test last year. Didn't even answer one of the free response questions and still managed to get a 5. Remember, the test is curved...a lot :P. This year I only took AP Stat. Probably the second most difficult AP test I took (Others last year were Calc, Chem, and Computer Science. Al...

Ah, I missed this thread. I convinced a friend of mine to take the test without having ever used Java. I took this last year. It was too easy (I hate AP tests...I'm always sitting there not allowed to do anything like READ). You probably did fine. I swear everything you need to know is on the API do...

I was tempted to enter, but the Dream Build Play contest has much better prizes.

I did like my idea of emulating the universe, emulating a quantum computer, emulating a pentium with the FDIV error. But then decided it would be too slow.
